The school had an encore performance for all the kindergarten classes…good thing, because I wasn’t able to get many good pictures from the original.
Ohhh little Ryken. He got a little cranky today, but for some reason it makes me laugh 🙂
On Saturday Annika celebrated in the Chinese New year with her fellow kindergarten classmates at Bethel University. Amazing event! They had her practicing for a couple months before hand. Annika had the routine spot on perfect and was so proud.
I came upstairs to make some lunch today and saw this…obviously the first thought to enter my mind was “grab a camera!!”. I asked her what she was up to and she said she was pretending to go to the science fair. I think it’s high time I took her to the science museum 🙂
We went down to the Zoo with Grandpa and Auntie/Uncle and cousins. It was one of the nicest days of the year so far, and we all had a good time at the Minnesota zoo. I don’t know why we brought the stroller, because the only time she sat in it was for a nap. This picture just cracks me up. We went the the farm animals area, and this crazy goat just wouldn’t leave grandpa’s hat alone…both Annika and I thought it was hilarious

Mom and baby are doing great, and are now resting at home 🙂
At 5:50 this morning Beth woke me up and said she thought her water broke. It sure sounded like the real deal so she called the hostipal and they asked her a few questions and said she should come in within the hour. We got to the hospital around 7:20 and the nurse put her on a monitor and the baby was doing great. She checked to make sure that her water was broken, and it was verified that she was going into labor 🙂 It sounds like she’s moved down, and is progressing great. Still quite early on, but it looks like her birthday could be 12/11/08! More to follow.
This picture is a little old, but I was just checking out the site last night and saw the picture from september…I couldn’t beleive how much she’s grown in just that one month. This is from October 17th.
Just a quick update and a belly shot. About 3 months to go and Beth is really starting to show now. You can tell the baby is really starting to grow now too because she is kicking up a storm. Beth had been able to feel her for quite a while, but the first time I was able to feel her kicking was on 8/8/08 during the opening ceremonies of the Olympic games. Apparently she likes the Vikings because both games so far she’s been quite active at kick off time. She already has her Viking’s onesie so she’ll be good to go once she’s born.
